Brief highlights of Town, State, and Regional Historical facts, plus some trivial about Holidays

All towns have their tall tales and legends. Some are just grains of truth that have disappeared into the bucket of time. Learn about Chesterfield's!

Chesterfield has 24 private or public cemeteries. They are cared for by the Chesterfield Cemetery Commission (CCC).

Dues support CHS efforts to collect preserve, and communicate Chesterfield’s history plus provide programing for all ages.
Incorporated in 1975, our mission is to stimulate interest in and document the history of the Town of Chesterfield. This is done through collections and preservation of items with historical interest and significance and by sharing them through programs, workshops and publications.
